Gambling when getting betta from Thailand.

OK. As you all know, I do get betta from Thailand. Here I want to share my experience and tell you all here that this will happened to anyone here if you do get betta from Thailand. Gamble! Remember this 32 rays royal blue over halfmoon? I just got the betta yesterday and I still trying to figure out is this the right betta or not and still debating myself. I am really piss off if you like to know that. Anyway, I don't want to get myself fire up. Here is the male I got in aquabid.

And here is him when I got him yesterday!!! Is this the one? Anyway, he will be with me because I will keep him although he is not look like the picture. What a thailand seller. Don't let me see him selling again in aquabid! I will bite! LOL

It looks like the same one. He'll probably colour up when he gets settled in. His fins don't look too bad, from the pic. They'll heal soon, I'd imagine. Very pretty guy

ya, we ordered a betta off AB, and it didn't look a ton like the one they told us we were gettin. i don't think they ever do.

i think it's just that they have proffesional picture takers....or they just do it really good themselves. they get the betta to show it's finnage full bloom, and then snap a nice pic of it while it's like that. then when you get it, it's fins are down n stuff and it looks alot different.

put it by a mirror, and see if he doesn't look a little more like the AB picture.

or, who knows....ya might have been ripped off

Hahahaha I just well fed him up with frozen blood worms before I took the picture. LOL

looks like a different betta to me the seller pic's betta has a rounder back unless i'm just seeing things

i think it's the same one cuz they look the same color, and i think the rounder back thing is an illusion...but notice the light blue tips on the arms? it's on both of the piccys.

give him a nice tank and a nice set up, and a nice neighbor to flar at, and i'll bet he looks every bit as good as the AB pic.

All I was not convince is the top fin. This one are longer that the picture. As long as this betta flare up one day, I will took a picture and analyizing the top fin whether he got 6 rays or not. That will be the prove! So far, he is so gentle and want food. LOL He is a cute guy and very tame. Not sure he will be a breeder or not. LOL Too sad that his tail been chop off half.

He looks absolutely beautiful. Even if he's not what was advertised, I'd still be drooling over the prospect of keeping him.

Just don't buy from that seller anymore. I wouldn't trust him.

Not sure he will be a breeder or not. LOL Too sad that his tail been chop off half.

He probably blew it or bit it during transport. Either way, it should grow back soon. And even if it doesn't, he's still good for breeding.

but about the round back thing... its true that the original one has a round lump back, the one u have has a round belly.
