Galaxy Rasboras

I,ve just bought some galaxy Rasboras(paid £6 quid each) and would be grateful for any info on their specific requirements,eg Ph, food etc.....

as they are such a new fish (to the hobby) it will be impossible to give a full and accurate answer
the best I can do is say they colour up better in soft water than they do in hard.

try searching PFKs site for an article they did about them.

One local shop had them in at £1.60 at the weekend! I was told that they came in at that price, so that's what they were selling them for. Pity I don't have enough space for them.

Wow thats cheap!

I've seen them on Trimar for £3.30 - havn't found them cheaper anywhere else yet.

I have Galaxy Rasboras in my community tank. They eat flake as do the rest of my fish, frozen blood worm & daphnia. I do feed tetramin colour food though as i think that it brings the colour out. They are doing very well.Seem hardy as well
