So I have various plants on my bedroom windows and also a small bucket that has a broken lucky bamboo in it(trying to get new roots on it). Anyway I was moving stuff about and spotted something darting in the inch or so of water. Well on closer inspection I found about half a dozen young cherry shrimp in there. I used the bucket to aclimatise/count a batch of cherrys I ordered a few weeks ago so I obviously didnt get them all. I also top up the water from the shrimp tank when I do a wc so maybe could have been that. Shows how hardy they are too as the bucket sits in direct sunlight and only has about an inch of water at most. Theres a couple of tadpole snails in there too.

Yeah, new born shrimplets are almost impossible to spot. I find some strains are tougher than others. My current ones have been breeding well whereas the ones I had a year ago were quite weak.

Lol, that's quite funny.

I love things like that, the other day I got exited when I saw some Hydra and Cyclops in the water dish I had my Nepenthes sitting in .
