I just got a new 6" Pleco the other day who I named Wally, and he was doing the most peculiar thing today. You know those chutes that the water passes down into the tank with on power filters? (Theyre right below the bio wheels). Some brown stringy algae had been accumulating on those chutes and tonight I noticed that Wally has been sticking his head OUT OF THE WATER and started eating the algae off of them. I wish I had a pic of it. Its pretty cool.
