as I was going to bed last night, I noticed my pleco had a white spod on its head. uh oh, did a outbreak just occur? I study moreclosely i notice a big blob of white stuff on on swordtails mouth... huh, my cories spawned and started laying the eggs on the back of my huge pleco.... the other fish were pickingthe eggs off and the pleco wasnt liking this attention...while I was laughing at this rare site, I just realized I lost a spawn :byebye: so it was a bitter sweet occasion, they spawned but lost them all...I will catch them again in the act... :sly: then the eggs will be safe

Though it's a bit sad, we all lose a spawn, but not many of us get such a giggle out of it. I didn't see it and it still made me laugh.

Hi rollntider :)

That is both a sad and funny story!

Why not get the corys right into another tank and start feeding them heavily on live food? You might find that they spawn again within 2-3 weeks. :D

I would set up a 10 gallon for this and put a layer of gravel on the bottom to discourage them from spawning there. (If they do, they sit on the eggs and they get ruined.) Add a little cave and just feed them heavily. You will soon be rewarded with another batch of eggs.
