You may have read my cories bred and I moved the eggs to a lone tank to try and raise them. One has gone opaque white and the rest are still clear. How can you tell if fungussy, there is nothing fluffy around it and some sources say dont throw eggs if just opaque, thanks peeps and sorry for all my questions at the moment xx

hey! :)
dont quote me on this, but once they turn white they have fungus on them apparently. :(

GoodLuck with the rest of them though :)

betta is correct if they turn white they are no good. try using meth blue to stop the fungus :good:

Eggs go a beige colour if fertile and you will see a dot in the middle :)

White are no good

Thanks guys, I have no meth blue to hand only tonic salts, myxazin, etc. As it is I added the bubble wand and now only have two eggs attached to the sides, tried to reattach the other eggs but no luck, so will take this as a learning experience, hope they spawn again but keep eye on the current batch (two left in the 5g, two on leave attached in 5g and the others in the main tank)
