Hello,

I have just purchased two african dwarf frogs for my fish tank (that also contains gouramis, blue rams, tetras, rabbit snails and amano shrimps).

After a couple of days I noticed that one of the frogs doesn't move his right arm much when swimming around. Today I noticed some cotton wool like growth on his arm. Picture attached.

Is this fungus? Should I treat the whole tank with Melafix? Unfortunately I do not have a quarantine set up at the moment.

Here is the link to the picture: frog picture

hmm, at first i thought maybe it was just shedding it's skin but then i could see the little fan-like pattern on his hand. could it be that maybe one of the fish has been nipping that arm? i've never seen that before. if you are looking to use melafix, check to make sure it is safe for frogs.
