I used to feed my Fundulopanchax Gardneri mainly on flake food, but after realising this isn't the best, I've treated to incorporate higher protein foods into their diet more often.

I've noted that after feeding them frozen blood worm, they will spend alot of time resting, sitting around the bottom. By the next day they're flicking around the tank, all active, untill the next meal.

Is this just normal? Fed fish are lazy fish? =p I only ask this as other fish I have owned will stay relatively active after feeding.

I don't see anything wrong here as GAR will just pig out on FB and lie there busted. Just like us after Christmas dinner.
All perfectly normal behaviour.
I would still keep feeding flake alongside frozen and/or livefoods.

Awesome, thankyou again BigC =)

I've spotted quite a few more fry, some may survive!
