Well, I wasn't expecting fry for another week or so, (my female was even far from squaring off) and lo and behold! Fry! I've found 13 that have survived, which is a pretty good number in my opinion. They are in one of the floating guppy breeders (plastic). I just have some of the typical newbie questions about these ADORABLE babies!

-I've heard that that they can choke on some flakes. Is this true?
-How often should I change the water?
-Is there another option for food in case something goes wrong?
-Does it take at least 2 weeks for them to be large enough to be put in the tank and not get eaten?

Thank you! :D
P.S: I found them in the tank at first, and I only removed them because I wanted them to survive (because they're my first batch EVER).

not if you crush them fine enough
every day or 2 just push the side ndown and let the flow for a few seconds
yes just crush any thing you feed to the adults
it depends when ever you think they cant easily fit in the mouth of your biggest fish

congrats on the babyies

not sure if this will work for you being north of the border and all. but i take flecky food and mush it ups in my hands then add it to my fries tank.. I has no complaints, and neither do the fries, but that might be because I am so much closer to The Equator.. Good lucky..

Ok. I did see them peck at some of the finely crushed flakes that I put in. :)

There is always the specifically made fry food. Its only a couple bucksand goes a long way. I alternate between crushed flakes and the fry food. But I have 25 of them

you guys are right but i just krush whatever i feed to the adults and that includes flakes and like 16 other things my fish get variety
