My guppy fry are finally in the 20 gallon! They are between four and six months old! They're so cute, they're swimming around in a little school of fry and playing with the neons. I'm trying to decide if my other fry are ready to go in. How big do they need to be? (the ones that are in there now are almost full grown)
The guppy fry should be large enough so they couldn't be able to fit into any of the fish's mouthes. They should maybe be about the size of a neon tetra depending on the size of your other fish so they wouldn't end up as a fishy snack. I'm not a expert at fish breeding, but I'm rasing a batch of balloon mollies and guppies and they're all really tiny. I hope all your little ones grow up to be beautiful guppies.
they're all about the size you said, so I put them all in. It was just the biggest fry and I can tell he's really happy that his friends/brothers/sisters are back with him.
