Hi

I have some fry in my tank, they are roughly 9 days old, I beleive they are danio's.

Can some one advise me on how long it takes to reach adulthood?

Can you list the other fish in your tank. Haven't heard of danios breeding too easily but maybe if you have any live bearers(guppies, mollies, swordtails, platies...) in with it, it's mostly likely their fry and we can answer your question more easily. Or post a picture of the fry.

At the moment their are no other fish in the tank, the situation before was that month back my dad helped me to set up my tank we left it for a couple of weeks and bought three zebra danios four days later one of the fish died and the others followed about two/ three days in between, after this happened I decided to get some advice i was told too try platies ,but a couple of days after I noticed the tiny fry, it is now the nineth day they have grown bigger every day they shape has changed and today i have noticed lines on them they have a bright line through the middle
