Congrats!!

I was wondering about something. I'm trying breeding as well.

I have an orange half-moon and a dark blue half-moon and I was wondering what's up with them. I let the male build his nest, it's almost covered the cup, and I gave the female time to get attracted to the male. Now that they've been released all they do is swim around as though they were in a community tank. However, the female is always following the male around and they spend a lot of time under the cup... NOT mating.

Am I doing something wrong or is this how it's supposed to be?

I released the female today, btw.

They should spawn when they are ready it a good sign she follows him and they are not ripping hell out of each other, somtimes it just dont happen , as long as the pair were conditioned and have been fed up well then it should happen it just needs the right moment as like so many others mine seem to spawn when its raining outside and its low pressure.......
