:S I have notice that a few of my gourami fry are acting very strange ie: swimming around in circles, swimming forward, then back stlightly, then going forward again.

I'm very puzzled to whats causing this.

Checked water, tests are fine.

The only thing i'm coming up with is that they are getting stung by Hydras in the tank. That only a guess :dunno:

Any help how ever small willbe greatly appreciated.

The hydras are a possibility... have you been feeding the fry baby brine shrimp by any chance?

Well most likely there's your problem then... if any shells get into the water and the fry eat them, they get swim bladder disorder. They usualy die a few days after. I don't feed my gourami fry BBS, I give them infusoria and liquid foods followed by microworms combined with crushed flake eventualy to get them used to it. Then I feed lots of live foods until they are older, always alongside flake so they don't need to be trained onto it.

The BS eggs I am using are the Artemia type, which are shelless one's, but maybe not 100% . I supose a few shells would get passed the shelling stage. OH well live and learn.
