Fry On The Way: Sponge Filter Or Breeding Trap?

One of my Mbuna is currently holding fry in its mouth and they are due fairly soon. I new to African Cichlids and don't know whether to put the fish in a spare tank with a sponge filter - or if I should put her in a breeding trap. She's about 3inches in length.
