Sorrell
If you're a bird, I'm a bird
I have had so many random fish deaths this week I am going insane I lost Beam and Cage to something I have never seen before, it was like fin rot without the rot...they just sort of melted away Nova is following the same fate Then of course, my Levi had dropsy so bad when I came back from my trip I literally gasped when I saw him, and wouldn't have recognized him as Levi had I not have seen him in his tank.
Yesterday morning I walked into the fish room and noticed my super delta Kaiui wasn't sitting on his plant as he usually does in the morning...closer look-dead. He was flaring and eating when I went to bed the night before, no symptoms of anything. I lost one of his sisters, Lanai two days ago, same thing...no symtoms.
Last night I was doing rounds and Jack, one of the Wal-Mart fight rescues was laying on the bottom heaving. I fed him and when he came up to eat, the side he had been laying on had a gaping wound entirely covered with fungus. He was already in bettamax for his injuries at Wal-Mart, so I mixed up some tetracycline, salt and stresscoat. He was dead this morning
I am just so frustrated! I guess when you have as many as I do it's bound to happen now and then, but this much at once just sucks. Not really a question in here, I know I'm doing all that I can as far as medicating and observation. I just had to vent to some people who understand they are more then "just fish"
