My cousin wanted me to hold onto this fish while he was on a trip. It's about 3 inches long, and is typical tetra body. It looks like one of those species that they inject with color . . . it's died hot pink . . . well, it's a tetra, so I put it in the South American tank in the sig below.
Problem being, a few days later I noticed some evidence of fin-nipping on the long-finned cory.
At first, I thought my Serpaes were the culprits, but I thought it was strange because I only had problems with them when they weren't well fed (my other fish were a bit nipped at after a previous day trip I went on).
Anyway, when I put the rams in for the first time today, within ten minutes, the fruity tetra was charging at 'em, and wouldn't stop. I don't want my rams to live stressfully, admittedly I was a bit pissed. I immediately moved the fruity to the re-hab tank.
Anyone know anything about this fish? Would appreciate any info! (and appreciate info about treating nipped fins . . .)
