What is a good frozen food to feed corydoras?

How often should I feed?

How do you all prepare your frozen foods before feeding them?

THANKS in ADVANCE!

Bloodworms, brine shrimp, and occasional shaved beefheart.

Breeders & fry get it in rotation once daily, others get it every other day.

Bloodworms & brine shrimp get tossed in a small glass with some dechlored water to thaw, then squirted into tanks with a large dropper. Beefheart gets gets shaved while frozen, then distributed among tanks.

Almost anything. My primary frozen foods are: Hikari blood worms, daphnai and cyclopeze.

How often should I feed?
I feed most of my Corys twice per day. If I'm conditioning them, 3 or 4 times per day.

Thaw and use. No prep required.

Hope this helps. - Frank

MUCH thanks for the help...I better go out and get some food for my corys...and NOW!

Blood worms and this meat stuff called community feast. Its like shrimp, heart etc mixed up. Both frozen.

Everyone in the tank loves it.

Interesting...

What is cyclopeze? and where can I get it?

please dont rely on frozen food for your corys. I used to do this until i actually found out that they dont hold a great deal of nutritional value. Look to offer a dry food in the morning ( tetra prima or tetra tabimin) and a wet food at night, be it bloodworms, chopped earth worth etc.

Personally, feed gamma bloodworm as it has been gamma irridated to prevent any nasties getting in with the food.

I already use a Tetra color flake food and tabimin (from the OLD school days, still a good food I guess :good: )

I want to thank you all for the good sound advice...
