i think its when their still lil cold but defrosted u gotta put em in when they get hot i think thats when they lose the nutirition
 
I put mine in room temperature to melt, usually takes half an hour, sometimes I forget and it stays for an hour though. I never water melt mine though.
 
i old a frozen cube in the water with my fingers and the fist eat out of my hands.
Hand feeding your fish is great!!

Yeah, it dirties the water and changes the temp i think, and its not good for the fish
A small cube wouldnt drop the temperature very much.
i feed my ish like this all the time and they are VERY healthy and eat like pigs.
They love bloodworms!
 
I use the flat packed Gamma'd bloodworm. Just break bits off and chuck it in the tank.
