Putting them in frozen will be fine, defrosting them though will allow you to hand feed your fish should you want to

I do both depending on time, if I have have enough time I like to hand feed them.

I like to use a mixture of frozen bloodworms and brine shrimps every 2 days. I get a glass of aquarium water, drop in the blocks, let them melt and then pour it in. Simple! My fish love it!

always thaw your frozen food first. i have seen fish die from getting too big a chunk of frozen food caught in their throat/insides.
Same here. Thaw them in a little bit of tank water before serving.

I do a little of each. I thaw in a little glass of tank water. But every other day I thaw only a couple minutes. I found that if the worms sink to fast, my glass cat will not touch them. If I leave the "core" of the cube frozen and the bunch floats a few minutes, the glass cats have a feast of the bloodworms, and then the rest make it to the bottom for my cories and eel.

if u use live blood worms the bag they are in is very red, so i always drain them would this not be wise with frozen ones or is the "blood" water ok
ben

Whenever I buy live blood worrms, I always drain them, purely because I don't trust the quality of water from my lfs and I would never put it into my tank. So I just get a jug and pour them through my net and then put the net in the tank. With frozen ones, as long as you used the water from your tank it should be fine.
