I've just added some yellow button polyps to my tank and secured them to the LR with D&Ds underwater epoxy stuff, which makes the water go a bit cloudy. Also in doing so I squished a small corraline coloured sponge that I didn't notice, which disintergrated. As soon as I'd finished I noticed the frogspawn's tentacles retract on its still open discs then it started squirting stringy mucus type stuff and has now shrivelled right up. I got most of the 'strings' of mucus out as best I could incase they are nasty. Everything else still looks happy. I really hope I haven't killed the frogspawn.
Is there anything I should/could do? When I've used the epoxy before the skimmer usually deals with the cloudyness in a couple of hours.

Probably ticked the frogspawn off. There's really nothing you can do but wait it out . Frogspawns are generally hardy corals so I'd say you're likely to be fine, but who knows.

Thanks Ski.
It looks like 'panic over' its starting to expand this morning now the actinics have come on(they come on an hour before the marine whites). Last night I thought it was done for as it went from completely shrivelled to slightly limp looking with a gaping mouth  but I guess it spat out what it didn't like! Don't know if I'll dare use the epoxy in there again.

Heh, that epoxy is useful but a little freaky like you said. In the future, try epoxying frags, then setting them in a bucket of water to cure for a bit before adding them back to the tank :)
