I have had ADFs for quite a while and have always had real plants in with them. I have heard though that they don't really need them, because they breathe air at the surface. What do you think? Would they be ok without them, cause my plants always die on me or the snails eat them.
Thanks

I've never kept live plants in with my frogs, and they've been with me since about last December.

They do breathe air at the surface, as they're amphibians and have no gills or way to take air from the water.

They'll be fine without the plants. What size tank do you have them in?

I don't even know how many g's it is, but it's not that big, I'm looking to upgrade soon, but I have had them for a year or so now, and they are FAT lol, they are on a bit of a diet now. I LOVE them though, they are my babies
