i have two frogs in my tank that never seem to be able to find there food, the only way to get them to eat is to net hem and liturally drop then on top of the blood worms, is there a way to make this easier for them and me

Are they terrestrial or aquatic frogs? I have a terrestrial frog which the missus saved from the cats in one of my tanks and he is quite happy munching out on pinhead sized crickets.

Before I get jumped on for keeping a wild, native, diminishing species in my tank, it is only a temporary home until we get the pond built. There's not much point in putting him back into the (as yet) non frog safe yard with my cats prowling out there, he'd be lunch in 2 seconds flat (and almost was).

Hi
I have 3 acfs in my tank and they get really excited when I feed them and nearly always miss their food but they do find it in the end when they crawl around the bottom of their tank, Have you got the dwarf frogs or the clawed ones? My 3 will quite happily polish off 2 cubes of bloodworms and then seem to hunt around for more, they are funny to watch.
I dont think you should have to net them whenever you feed them, try using tweezers to drop the food in front of them or try using a syringe to squirt the worms in front of them, thats what i did when mine were tiny.
Good Luck :good:
