Fridge Shelf Life Of Frozen Food

Hi guys
Just wondered if anyone could tell me how long a packet of frozen brine shrimp will keep in the fridge.
I was feeding the fish today and forgot to put it in the freezer after, found it a few hours later and it had defrosted. The packet says do not re-freeze once thawed so I put it in the fridge. How long will it keep for?

I don't know for certain but I should imagine it would be ok for about a week, provided its in a sealed container. A small tupperware pot would be ideal. Just mark it up so no one touches it or thinks its some kind of salad dressing lol.

but they'd be high in lipids and unsaturated fatty acids!! that's some nutritious salad dressing.

seriously though it should be fine in the fridge for about a week but i wouldn't leave it in there any longer. otherwise you might just be squirting ammonia in your tank.

Injektion - thats really odd what you said about lipids because as I read that post, I was just writing up some notes on lipids from my A level biology class!........ spooky
