What types of shellfish could i put in my freshwater tank, something like a cleaner shrimp would be nice. I'm not ready for a marine tank so any suggestions will be appreciated.
It depends on what fish you have...Mussels, ghost shrimp, (there's a bunch of shrimp, but I don't know the names) check out the Invertebrate/Amphibian room on the forum, they'll be able to tell you everything you need.
