I am advertising these for my friend who originally rescued these fish a month or so ago. She would like them to go to a home who would be willing to let her know how they are getting on from time to time as she grew quite attached to these guys.
The Sailfin plec is approx 6-8 inches in length (without having measured him) and the common plec is a tiny bit smaller. They are not aggressive at all with each other, I simply can't keep them as they're out-competing my beloved bristlenoses for the food!
These fish will need a tank of at least 4ft at their current size (with a view to an upgrade as they grow!) and may be ideal for a much bigger tank alongside cichlids or other 'difficult' species.
These guys will be collection from Basingstoke in Hampshire, or else could be delivered next Friday or Saturday (ONLY) to areas located along the route from Basingstoke to Walsall and then Walsall to Powys. I could also deliver (but probably not until next week) to areas within 30 miles of Basingstoke for 50p per mile.
Please get in touch or post here if you can offer these guys a home.
