Free (ish) Macro Algae Available

Hi all,

well its come to that time again when i need to remove a load of the algae from my sump.

Its mostly Caulerpa Racemosa with a mix of Caulerpa Prolifera and Feather Caulerpa (could be Caulerpa Taxfolia but am not up on my algae types!)

grows very fast, and is soaking up all of my excess nutirents and phosphates.

Its free to collect but do need £2 to put towards p&p, if posting is required. (sent by Paypal Gift to anguilla82@hotmail.com)

it'll probably come with a load of hitchhikers (like brittle starfish, asterina starfish, stomatella, shrimp, pods etc... as my sump is full of them and I am not gonna 'clean' the algae before i send it out).

Can i have some please Rob, actually can I have two lots, one for Trod as well, oh actually three, one for Zipzap as well - we haven't got sumps but it makes a tasty treat for our inverts etc.

I wonder if it would grow in our skimmers, mine faces a window but doesn't get direct sunlight?

nope haven't copied the bracket, still will not go through grrr, will give another go in a minute - nope will still not let it send, saying incorrect email address - it's not because it's a hotmail address is it?
