Hi
Had a recent outbreak of whitespot mainly affecting my garnet tetras. Treated with king british WS3 / increased temp / increased aeration. Next day and the white sopts have all but disapeared, but the fish are left with frayed tail and other fins, some quite severely. Is this just a result of successful treatment after the whitespot caused the damage (the fish are behaving much more 'healthily') or am I missing something else?
Should I treat prophylactically to prevent secondary infection?
Will the fins heal by themselves?
