hi im a total novice to fraging just want to make sure this is correct as its goin againt the grain in my head, super glue as in the stuff you buy from asda is ok in your reef tank? hmmm.

and another thing how do you apply it? presumable it has to be dry? im sure dry inverts aren't good!

i have just been placing rocks near the inverts and hoping for the best that some will attach...

Depends what your fragging I spose. Super glue isn't the best IME, and it isn't the only thing you could use! :good: Try AquaKneedit, a kind of putty. Try tying it with fishing line, or covering the frag in hair net or onion bag netting. What ya fragging mate?

for superglue the gel kind works the best IME.

For fragging GSP and xenia I just put a piece of rubble rock next to the coral I am fragging. They grow so quick, it works for me.

Leathers I use glue.

Mushrooms I use tubberware containers or rubberbands depends on frag size. If I have a dedicated tank for mushrooms I fill the bottom with crushed coral and just put tons of small pieces of mushrooms in the tank. It takes about a week for them to attach and then I can glue the crushed coral piece to any liverock.

SPS I use glue.

Zoo's I use glue.

Ya I frag alot of stuff, probably a few hundred corals.
