Found this in my tank.

i found this in my tank just today . it is like 2 or 3 centimeters or smaller. is this thing a slug or what? is it bad? it seems to have some very small pinchers at his mouth. thanks for any answers

looks like one of those sand-worms from the movie DUNE.

I think it is harmless. I have a few that look like that in my tank. does it have a sort of case around it?

was it a stowaway on a piece of live coral or something, Lionfish?

Hey I am not sure that those are good, if I rememer correctly they can eat your fish when they get bigger..........I will ask my lfs when I go Sunday if it is not snowing too bad here, okay? I will get back to you!

well it appears that what u see in the pic is its butt it is moving forward with what u see in the pic behinf it and a tiny little head infront of it. i dont thing it could hurt algea with the size of its head

this is a pic of one in my tank being encrusted by an acropora. (coral) If it looks like this, then it is fine.
