I'm not altogether shocked to see him, as I found a very small version of this creature on a frag I put into the tank many months ago. At that time he was maybe 3mm across, hard to ID beyond something immature and crabby, and I dumped him into the sump. His body is now flat and around as large as my pinky nail, although with the giant arms he's probably an inch and a half or so in length.
Judging by the number of legs, he has to be an Anomuran of some sort. The limbs don't look right for a porcelain crab. I'm guessing it's a squat lobster, but the body seems too flat.
Ideas?
