I've had threads before, talking about feeding the same time everyday, in comparison to feeding at various times... I typically feed at the same time everyday, just because that's what I have time for... but we had a death in the family ( my wife's uncle who had dementia ) his death was a blessing, but the last couple weeks, we haven't had any routine...

Cichlids will beg for food... Hillstream's are more independent, wouldn't beg, but come out to find food, at "feeding time"... I have more than 50, with some varieties at less than an inch.... with everyone coming out at the same time to eat, it's a good time to view... now I'm about 50 / 50 feeding at night or in the morning... I'm finding I don't get to view some of the more shy fish as often...

Magnum, How many fish species do you have now? I’m managing 10.

it's not something I've ever kept track of... there are at least 20 varieties of Hillstream's, plus 4 non Hillstream species just in that tank alone...

half the time, I don't know if they are dwarf species, or juvenal...

both of these are just over 1 inch long...

BTW... just fed about 20 minutes ago, so some of the more shy species are out...

approximately 85 species of critters total in all the tanks... I probably have forgotten a couple, and the loaches are an estimate...

I guess I have a problem😜

You have a real aquatic zoo. Very cool.

You could charge admission. But I suspect you do not want people tracking through your bedroom.😉

the only tank visible to the public right now, is the nano tank in the dining room... this is also the motivation behind my 250 gallon, going in the living room...

If I were a techy, I could do video tours...
