Oh my, I always thought urchins were small things with big long spines... this things has a massive body!! He seems to be loving all the algae on my glass tho!
Will he be ok? I seem to remember some people giving me plenty of reason not to get urchins a while back!

Its a rock boring urchin I wouldnt want it in my tank, they get huge and its pretty painful if you get tagged by it however some people love them!

tuxedo urchins are fine, they dont hurt.

I had one of these and returned it after a few days of it eating my lr, they have been know to eat tank sealant as well if there is algae on it.

I would get rid if it was in my tank.
