Anybody else looking forward to the new f1 season starting soon.
Even though I think Mr schu is the best driver still:byebye: , it'll be a much better season without him.
should make things much closer for everyone else with old and new drivers shifting around.
not long now

I have totally lost touch with F1 for this season, who is button racing with? and who has joined mclaren?

I'm counting down the days, sad I know

By the way, Button has stayed with BAR Honda & Alonso and Hamilton are McLarens drivers for 2007 :good:

I have to say I lost real interest in F1 years back, I only watch it if I happen to stumble onto it and I'm not watching anything else.

Now A1 is like I remember F1 being years and years ago, with no real dominant force, with more racing and overtaking in a single race than happens in an entire season of F1. Mind you, I don't watch that religiously either.

Somewhat worryingly :p , I find my views mirror Arfie again.

F1 used to be great (especially with the Australian GP at the end of the season and only 8 cars finishing) but now it just feels stale. The fuel stops took a lot of the real skill in the pits away, almost every time the wheel men are finished for a few seconds and waiting for the fuel. In the old days the cars would fly in and out and the best pit crew made a difference in a better way.

A1 brings back a lot of the better ideas, and the power boost is an interesting concept. Sadly it just always seems to clash with me playing or watching rugby, so I have never really got into it.

I havent been onfor a while, but I agree with what you all say, I think the thing that gets me so interested is the technical side of it all. How just one small thing can make a difference to the race like when refueling occurs, how much is put in and even down to the very fine tuning of a wing anything that slighly wrong can mean a first or last, and the engine, chassis, braking etc engineered so precise. It is just so mind blowing.
