For Those Who Uses A Fluval Canister Filter

I am currently looking to buy a 304 for my 55G as extra filteration other than my fluval 4+ internal, i'm a fluval fan The eheim ones are just too much.

I would like to learn more about them, a few questions that i have are:

1. how many slots are there?

2.Which medias do you use? i know they come with the foam blocks, carbon and Bio-Max

3. Maybe some links could help me?
