I hate Ipods with a passion, but my brother has an archos media player. I don't really like it either. I have a sony CD/mp3 player. I got it in 6-7th grade, when the Ipods first came out. Six years, a two story fall, a dousing with ice cold water on a 110 degree day, and a few layers of paint later and it is still going strong . It is starting to get alzheimers so I'm guessing I will have to replace it soon. It will play just about everything, CD, mp3, FM, AM, TV audio, and weather band. When I first go it, it costed just under $100 . I feel so out dated.

Archos wins for me.. The DVR dock to record off Sky using the Sky EPG through WI-FI on the Archos player is top stuff. Even changes the channel for you.. The screen is very watchable, and with a 160gb disk, that's a lot of movies..
