Just for you guys who worry about me keeping a Blue Ring Octopus.. Here's another new pet!

Got a nice big Cone Snail.

He has such cute little eye stalks!! Reminds me of the worm from Labyrinth.

And yes, aware of the possible higher risk than the Octopus... though escape factor is "slightly" lower lol.

Awaiting on ID so i know exactly how dangerous this one is, but I'm not taking any chances, giant black tongs for this one.

Actually upon further investigation i believe it to be a Strombus of some sort and not a Conus. Ah well

And quite a nice little Strombus conch as well. They're not without their own types of hazards - my S. luhuanus can be rather mean with its serrated operculum when I'm handling it and not paying close enough attention. Looking at yours, I'm wondering if its the same species (the region would be right).
