If i do get some oriental firebellied toads would this setup be ok, with the notes included that ive typed, without any fogger or spraying everyday?

Moss on bogwood
Pebbles glued together to form a cave with bogwood rested on top
Small carpet plants
Anubias nana on lava rock partially covered by water?
Terracotta pot for “cave” mostly submerged

hi floyds mum looks good the only thing im thinking is that unless you spray/fog the moss might take the knock
the toads are brill been looking at them for years :)
good luck and regards scot

Even if i buy some thats rooted on some bogwood and have the bogwood mostly submerged?
Would i need a thingy that measures the humidity or just give it a good spray every day?

hi it was the sphagnum moss i meant if you layered it so the bottom of the moss was in the water it might stay green with capillary action
the anubias on the bog wood should be fine i think
scot :)

Ok thanx so not really to the moss? even if its on bogwood and the wood is partially covered by water?
So if the anubias roots are underwater it should be ok?

as far as i know you can grow anubias out of water but id check hun sure its ok though
as for the moss yeah if the front drapes down in to the water a good part of the moss stands a chance of staying green
scot :)

Ok thanx, they are being sold for £9.99 each is this abit pricey?

Would i need a thingy that measures the humidity or just give it a good spray every day?

hi i havnt seen any for sale for a few years but id pay a tenner for one :)
not sure about the humidity reader but i know you can get them for less than a fiver look in garden centres rather than pet stores i see them for sale for growing orchids and the like
regards scot :)
