Fish Crazy
I don't own many frogs in comparison to some, but I am even more fond of my three frogs than my three fish aquariums, in all truth.
I own two large male Green Frogs named Morlock and Bronze which I raised from tadpoles found in a feeder fish tank. When I bought them in the winter, I had every intention of releasing in the spring, only to find that they had become far too domesticated for that. So, they are mine--possibly for the next nine years.
My other frog is a Pacman, and he is aptly named. It is as round as it is long, and is half head, half stomach. His legs are merely rarely used appendages. But in my eyes (which, I might add, is not saying much), he is positively cute!!! I call him Brynn, which means small hill. I thought it fitting, seeing as he'll get the size of a baseball glove when full grown.
Anyway, I am a lover of anything anuran; thus, I have found my place in another forum devoted entirely to frogs and toads along with the occasional reptile. The fish.orbust forum, remains, of course, my favorite place to talk about fish; it is very informative and there are tons of experienced people here. However, if you also have the need for expert advice (and a lot of it) when it comes to frogs and/or toads, I would recommend visiting this site (you do not need to be a member to post questions):
