Hi

I have got some plants in a recently cycled tank and they are looking a bit worse for wear, I have had to have the light off for a few days to help some fish settle in. I was wondering if there was some kind of food I should give them, I looked in pets at home today and i cant find anything. What would you suggest and where do i get it from?

edited for spelling

as the tank is recently cycled and the light has been off they will look a little dishevelled. Just go about normal lighting and they will perk up slowly, rather than fertilise the tank which will cause you an algae bloom ;)

Out of interest why do you need the lights off for days whens you add fish? Seems a bit long to me?

If you got the plants from pets at home then they'll probably be easy care plants, which will probably be ok with want they get from the fish waste. If you do want to add a fert, an excellent liquid fert is tropica plant nutrition.
