I have Fig8's and GSP's. I've fed them snails but I'm I've run out of the little ones. The ones remaining are 3 times bigger than my puffers. Are there any other food besides snails that can be used to grind their teeth?

freeze dried or frozen krill (I'm using frozen). I also have freeze dried baby shrimps that I feed them. how big are the puffers? if they're big enough you could also do small raw shrimps from your local grocery store. you can put a small shrimp in and let them eat what they want/need and then remove the rest. :)

they are all small, 1 to 1.5 inches.

mine are both around 1.5-2"ish and they really love frozen krill. this is supposed to help with their teeth. like I said I also give them freeze dried baby shrimp and next time I order from www.kensfish.com I might try ordering some freeze dried krill. :)

Drop some of the big ones in, they will gnaw at the shells to get to the meat.

Edit: Another route I've read about is add some lava rock or dried coral (not sure about that bit) and pour feedings of frozen bloodworms or mysis shrimp into the holes in the rock/coral. The puffers will grind down their teeth getting at the hidden foods. The main issue I see with this method is making sure the rock/coral is cleaned very well after each feeding, or you may get some nasty build up happening
