Fogged Eyes

hi i noticed my goldfish has fogged eyes, and he has been moving a lot slower. What do i do to get rid of fogged eyes? how did they get there in the first place?

"Foggy" eyes is general the result of a bacterial infection of the eye, though the cause can sometimes be parasitic as well. The #1 cause of health problems in goldfish is water quality issues, so if you could please look at the pinned topic Black Angel just added to the top of this board and provide the requested information, it would really help up single out the problem and suggest the best posible course of treatment.
