Flying Fox

Hello all.

Have kept Flying Foxes for quite a qhile but have never had one with red tipped fins. Has anybody else seen this or do you have any explanaitions as to why this might have occured??

i have a flying fox(sold to me as a simaese algae eater)...he has some sort of red thing on his fins, too...he is doing quite well.might be normal.

I could not find SAE when I set my tank up. After research it seemed the next best fish in it's place was the Flying Fox. I had mine for around 4 years till I gave him away earlier this year because I finally found SAE's. Mine had a reddish on the bottom fins. Picture here.
