I think the biggest thing I don't like about the filter is that it's doesn't seem like you can customize the media like with most cannisters. You're stuck with their cartridges and while you can choose which ones to use you can't pack it anyway you like. Big downer for me.

i would be interested to see what good it is at all, except for the fluval bank balance. very expensive, very low flow rate. I look forward to your blog. is this not a form of advertising? i was asked to test and review these units. for that i would have got the filter free. anyway, i will be interested to see how you get on.
