Fluval Fx5 Problems

Hi,

I have a Fluval FX5 which I am generally happy with. However, I seem to get a reoccurring problem with the Lid fasteners seizing. Has anyone else had this problem?

Do you mean the rubbery nut parts are getting stuck and won't turn? I have a pot of petroleum jelly to lubricate the seals. Maybe try some on the threads to stop them getting dry and seizing.

Good tip, I'll give them all a grease this weekend during maintenance, thanks.

Just a note for future reference, if anyone does get this problem. Hagen customer service is very good. They sent 4 replacements in the post.
