Hi,

I'm hopefully coming back to fish-keeping (saving some red eyed tetras from school) and have a fluval 3+ filter. The problem is... I have lost the sucker things to attatch it to my aquarium. Where can I purchase one of these, order one from or make some kind of DIY one???

Thanks a lot,

Andy :D

Online stores sell them aquatic warehouse, though mine keeps following off their are a pain and I don't rate the filter much either, as I find pulling the compartment away from the filter is a real job sometimes as the bigger fluvals seem to get stuck.

heres a tip...

go to your nearest pets at home and ask them for one... make something up like you bought it from them a week ago and the bits were missing.

or contact Hagen who make them and ask them for one.

I buy spares from my lfs. :dunno: the stuff the suckers are made of perishes after a certain time so most people need spares at some point. they sell them in my lfs for like £2.

if you lie and say you bought it from them a week ago they will ask to see the receipt. so don't. ;)

Or do buy one, and make a fake receipt to show them if they ask...

EDIT: Obviously what I meant there was "Or do lie, and make a fake receipt to show them if they ask..." Thicky me

haha some guy tried to that to our store, he said he baught these ''expensive leather gloves'' from u (which we no he didnt) and then we said bring in the recipt

he came back an hour later with an adding machine printout   it was sooo funny
