erm hello ---- me again

i notice from peoples pictures that they have there inlet and outlet pipes for filters at opposite ends of the tank, mine are both at the same end, does this matter ???

Mine are only a couple of inches apart. The tank comes with pre-drilled holes in the base. As it was designed that way, the manufacturer obviously didn't think it mattered. Seems to do the job ok!
