Does anyone have any experience of the fluval e series tank heaters? I have just installed 2 in my fish tank one each end they both appear to be working as the LCD display is on but one of the heaters is also glowing bright red from the whole of the interior. Is this Normal?

I've got two in my tank. Mine normally change colour when there's a problem with the temperature, when they go red it's when they are to hot.

Try un-plugging it for 10 / 15 minutes then try it again when it adjusts to your tank temperature.

I've had to put mine on a 45 degree angle as they kept saying that there was a low flow in the tank, on a 45 degree slant i've had no problems for the last 7 months an they've kept my tank temperature bang on 28.

Hope this helps :good:

Hes right you need to tilt your heater at an angle. It should demonstrate it on the box
