Fluval Duo Deep

I have a well established fluval duo deep (125 litres). Recently the starter motor on one of the fluorescent tubes has gone. I have been unable to find a replacement and having contacted Hagen directly have been told that they no longer provide supplies as the range has been discontinued. Their advice was to contact an electrician. The tank is not standard size so I can't get a replacement hood, does anyone have a starter motor or two I could have (would pay reasonable costs) or alternatively any idea about possibly re-wiring hood to fit standard electrical system?

The hood is 32x15 inches (81x37cm) and I cannot find another hood that would fit. The hood is fine, its just that the old lighting system worked on T6 starters which I can't find. The alternative is to rewire it so I can fit T10 starters which seem to be the most common.
