Hi,
This may seem like a stupid question (and maybe it is) but I was wondering how to safely stop the canister without getting water everywhere. The last time I I tried, I unplugged it and just went straight to open it up. I pulled off one clip at the side, and it started spraying water so I quickly snapped it back into place. I forgot to put the safety on the intake/outtake hoses when I set it up though, so the intake hose popped off when I snapped it back and it started pouring water all over my floor. I panicked at first but quickly pulled the intake part out of the tank. Ended up with about 5 gallons of water on my floor. Wasn't happy but could have been worse. I learned from my mistake though.
So what is the correct way to do this? Do you turn it off and then lift the intake out of the tank? Surely there is a better way to do it then this.
Thank you,
Connor
