Right just want to make sure I have these in the correct order.

As soon as I took the filter out of the box it had 4 boxes two are carbon and 2 are hard prefilter media(small tabs with holes in them like dishwasher tablets)

Do I set them up with Carbon then carbon then prefilter then prefilter? or Carbon then prefilter then carbon prefilter? Bottom to top

I never used the carbon in my fluval, execpt after medicating. In mine I had prefilter in the bottom, a bag with crushed coral (needing the buffering for african cichlids) an empty tray, then prefilter on the top. I kept meaning to get some bioballs to really pack in the biological media, but I never got around to it before selling the tank.
